a naomi quote

when God sees the sky tire of its glorious feats, He nudges the velvet blanket of night over our sleeping world. there the night hangs, innate in the rough cutting cool air, but comforting with its snug hold. innumerable stars whisper from afar, telling stories of prayer and hope and faith. by God's hand they span an infinite distance, yet can be held in one's hand, underneath night's cover. eventually i pull my own insufficient blanket close to my chin, brushing my body with warmth. God instucts the stars as they ever so gently sing a lullaby; He reaches down with one sweet hand, laying an afgan of His own upon me, that of silent slumber.
